Life Outsourcing
Outsourcing is not ominous as you might think. Surely, if you profoundly understand what outsourcing is all about and how it works, you will change your view. It is understandable why you might perceive outsourcing as a nemesis. Politicians usually use it as a scapegoat whenever it comes to economic recessions and slowdowns. However, the true substance and effect is misconceived. I am not going to give you evidence or explanations that are not ornamented with complicated terms such as under delegation or underemployment. I would just bring the issue down to the scale of your own life. Did outsourcing your life occur to you before? I know that you do not possess a corporation or are involved in an international firm or even own a business card. Whether you are a manager who goes to his office every day, formally dressed or a writer who works at home, you can outsource your life.
To outsource your life means to delegate the tasks that you really don’t need to do yourself to somebody else—an assistant. “There is not much tasks in my career that could be outsourced.” However, if you just give it a deeper thought, what is just so paramount and crucial that nobody else can do it but you? You will come up with a very, very small list I’m sure. If you succeed to outsource your life then you will have ample time to do things that are truly beneficial for you. You will have much space for creativity and innovation. Your life abounds with tasks that you can easily outsource, for instance, writing newsletters, scheduling your interviews, writing articles, searching for images to be put in context, researching about a certain company…etc. there are a lot of things you do and spend a lot of time on, can just be done by anybody else, hence, can be outsourced. Do not take it as an insult or a shot to your pomposity and pride, because it is not meant that way. It is just a wiser and smarter way to manage your precious time. Outsource the cake and you do the scrumptious icing.
Outsourcing your trivial tasks would boost your productivity and subsequently your profitability. However, I am sure to outsource your life might seem overwhelming and challenging, especially if you come across the risks that might be associated with outsourcing your life. The first issue that you might be concerned with is how will you follow the progress of somebody who is too remote from me? There are diverse media that you can contact the person you outsourced your work to and can even check his progress instantly. Moreover, if you are really intimidated by the fact that this person might not do the work at the quality you aspire, then you can always ask for a sample or a trial project before outsourcing your work to him. Want to outsource your life, but do not know what to do? There are legions of companies in other countries that specialize in outsourcing. Google it and you will find a plethora of websites that would guide you to and tell you how to outsource your life.
